The next “big” thing!

Hello friends! It’s been a minute since sending out an update so here’s a quick recap of what’s been happening down at the brewery…

Our next big bottle series “Ciel Rouge a Nuit” is bottled and on its way to the distributors! This Flanders-Style Red Ale boasts significant flavors of sour cherries supported by Belgian yeast and oak spirals for a finishing touch. Find it on tap and in stores in 750ml champagne bottles but don’t wait too long… this limited-release brew will be gone before you know it!

Next week is American Craft Beer Week and we have SO MANY events lined up all over the state. Check back this weekend for a final lineup but expect big things (some casks, randalls and tap takeovers, perhaps?) Oh, and Josh wants you to know he’ll be at Track 84 in Warwick on Thursday, May 16. So, you know, go say hi to him and stuff.

No better way to get through the work week than with some fresh, locally made craft brews so grab some GSBRI brews today and check back with us this weekend! Cheers!

Head brewer Josh tapping the first-ever in-house cask of Blonde Ale at Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island!

As a very special treat for our fans and friends, we have set aside an extremely rare, one-time-only, limited-release, never-again-will-you-see-this-so-you-better-come-to-the-brewery-today-to-try-it CASK of our Bring Back the Beach Blonde Ale. For a minimum donation of $2, you will be given a 4-ounce pour of this delicious blonde ale and all of the money raised from our cask will be added to the ever-growing amount to be put towards the Misquamicut Beach Recovery Effort put together by the Greater Westerly-Pawcatuck Chamber of Commerce. We only have (slightly less than, ahem) 5 gallons of this brew and we expect it to go fast, so stop by the brewery today between 1 and 5 and stay warm, dry and quenched with the GSBRI staff!
